Join us for a cross-sector panel to discuss this issue of FORWARD: Monuments & Memorials, and explore what is next for monuments across the world. What do our monuments and memorials say about who we are, what we value and who holds power? How are leaders around the country and world changing this to better reflect the kind of world we want? Our cross-sector panel of leaders will share their thoughts in conversation on this important topic in communities around the world.

Featuring:

Bethel Abate, Design Director, MASS Design and part of the Public Memory and Memorials Lab
Darion Jones, Deputy Director, Office of Arts & Culture, City of Portland, OR and involved in the Portland Monuments Project
Macy Siu, artist, foresight strategist and part of the Memory Work project
Moderated by Mallory Rukhsana Nezam, FORWARD Curator of Partnerships & Programming

This is part of our conversation series for our new digital publication, FORWARD 7: Monuments & Memorials, which was guest edited by New Monuments Task Force. Forecast Public Art offers this program free of cost, but donations are appreciated. Forecast Public Art is a nonprofit organization.
