The Gathering

We look forward to you joining in the conversation at The Gathering about the future of Fairbridge Festival. If we are to bring the festival back and enjoy a robust future, we need to listen so, all voices are welcome, and in fact, are necessary - we are listening. The FolkWorld Inc. Management Committee is keen to collaborate on the shaping of a vision and mapping a pathway to success. To be achieve success, we need your help. We really need your active participation; this is the clarion call to the steadfast and loyal Fairbridge Festival community. Please bring your opinions, suggestions, energy, and instruments (if you'd like to partake in the verandah sessions in true Fairbridge style).

Stay tuned to the Facebook event page here to keep abreast of plans for the weekend as they unfold, including the programme of events, which will encapsulate special guest performances in the Chapel and Dining Hall, workshop topics and timings, and a Special General Meeting for financial members. If you're not already a member, then you can join here.

Your ticket package price includes two nights' accommodation, entry and workshops. 

Self-cater the full weekend or select an optional extra of the Saturday night buffet dinner in the dining hall. Limited seating, BYO drinks. 

ACCOMMODATION
Fairbridge Village's cottages offer shared accommodation, most, often with multiple beds per room, in configurations that vary per cottage - see ticketing options. All cottages have kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Gold cottages include linen including pillows, towels and sheets with upgraded facilities.

Standard cottages only have flat sheet on beds so you will need to BYO linen including pillows, blankets/doonas, sheets and towels.

Please note, cottages must be vacated by 12:30pm on the Sunday with departure from the village by 3:30pm - thank you.
