Travel instructions

Getting Here You’ll find us perched right at the top of Mount George Road, just a few minutes from George Town — and a world away from the everyday. First yellow gate on the left. From Launceston Follow the East Tamar Highway (A8) north towards George Town (about 35 minutes / 48.5 km). Just before you reach town, turn right onto Mount George Road. Continue 2.2 km uphill to the very top — we’re the first driveway on the left, clearly marked by our signage wall. From the West Tamar Coming via the West Tamar Highway (A7) Turn off at Sidmouth (B73), cross the Batman Bridge, and join the East Tamar Highway (A8). Turn left towards George Town, then follow the same route — right onto Mount George Road, continue 2.2 km to the top, and look for our first driveway on the left.

Entry instructions

Parking 🚗 Onsite parking is available: * Café Patron parking on the left side of the driveway. * In front of the fenced area, past the turning circle. Overflow parking is outside the front gates at the top of Mount George Road, then down along the driveway through the second yellow boom gate. Please follow signs and staff directions on arrival.

A Little Heads-Up ⚠️ We’re a natural bushland property with uneven ground, wildlife and limited accessible areas. Tassie weather changes faster than party plans, so dress for the conditions and wear sturdy walking shoes. Please take care, supervise children and pets, and follow staff directions.

Toilet location

Café Patron Unisex Accessible Toilet 🚻 The toilets are next to the Café Bar. Follow the deck walkway on the left-hand side of the Café and look for the signs.

Accessible Parking ♿ Please use the car park spaces closest to the Café building, located in front of the fenced area. Follow event signage or ask our team if you need assistance.
