Event description

Welcome to this one day event set in a beautiful country home just outside of Samford. Surrounded by lush hills with an interactive herbal garden.

Imagine, driving into the country for the day to be surrounded by sisters and learning the magic of herbal medicine. Your guides, Holly Moffitt and Cassie Hower are experienced and passionate health care professionals who are excited to share with you simple home remedies that can be taken home with you to enjoy.

You will learn medicine making skills, cooking with medicinal plants and other tricks that you can utilise at home with plants from your garden, or perhaps a neighbour. Questions are encouraged and educational material will be provided on the day.

Each event is themed for the season to deepen your connection to the natural world and support your health and wellbeing in this moment in time.

Traditionally Halloween falls in Autumn and speaks to a slowing down and a descent into Winter. This session focuses on preparing our immune systems and body for the longer nights of Autumn and Winter, whilst leaning into the fun of the season. We will be making some witches brews and some green goo's to leave you thoroughly nourished and laughing for days.

Come with a friend, or come to meet new and likeminded friends.

We can't wait to spend the day with you.

Note: Whilst this workshop is safe and informative, with your educators held to the highest standard. It is important to always check if herbal medicine is right for you with your primary medical practitioner.
