The Great Clothing Exchange
Event description
Following this success of our first clothing exchange event, we’re hosting a new mega swap event for kids, teens and adults. This will include kids toys and Christmas decorations.
This is a FREE ticketed event where attendees can exchange or donate good quality pre-loved items, while also enjoying some fun textile and sustainability activities.
Reusing clothing means we are keeping these items in circularity, out of landfill. Let’s do our part and help create a more sustainable Monash!
Adults and Teens:
Drop off will commence from 10am. Clothes swap will commence from 11am.
Up to 8 items which no longer bring you joy can be exchanged for up to another 8 items. You will only be able to complete one round of swapping to ensure we can deliver the fairest event possible.
You will receive a token for each item. Please ensure your items are washed and checked for any flaws (we don't accept items that are stained, damaged, pilled or smelly) – don’t forget BYO bag!
Once you have dropped off your clothing and are waiting to swap, you are free to take part in our free fun textile or sustainability activities which will be held within the space of the Civic Centre.Â
Donations can also be received between 2pm-4pm Friday 29 November at Monash Civic Centre.
