The Great Exhale: Men Under Pressure
You don’t have to hold everything together here.
The Great Exhale is a 3.5-hour nervous system reset and breathwork experience for men in Sydney.
It is designed to help you step away from the noise, get out of your head, and release some of what your body has been carrying.
Is this for you?
This experience is for men who carry a lot of responsibility at work or at home, find it hard to switch off, feel stressed, frustrated, flat, or constantly on alert, or are navigating pressure, grief, uncertainty, or significant change. It is also for men who simply need a few hours where nothing is being asked of them. No performance. No forced sharing. No need to explain yourself. Just a few hours to put everything down and breathe.
No previous experience with meditation, yoga or breathwork is required. Krystle Bragg and Sophie Bennett have sequenced the experience through guided meditation, yin yoga, a 30-minute pause, transformational breathwork and integration. Each part prepares your body and nervous system for what follows. Individual headsets and eye masks give you the privacy to stay focused on your own experience, without worrying about anyone around you.
The journey
LAND: Settle with Krystle
We begin with guided meditation to help you leave the pace and noise of everyday life behind. There is no pressure to clear your mind or meditate perfectly. Krystle will guide you into the room, into your body and into the experience ahead.
OPEN: Stretch with Krystle
Once you have settled, we move into 60 minutes of restorative yin yoga. Long-held, supported postures gently stretch the body and help release physical tension that can build through stress, work, and everyday life. You do not need to be flexible or experienced. The practice is slow, accessible and designed to prepare your body for the breathwork that follows.
PAUSE: Rest and refuel
We pause for 30 minutes, with tea, light refreshments and something to eat. You can talk with the other men in the room, ask questions or simply take some quiet time before the breathwork begins. There is no expectation to socialise or share anything personal.
RELEASE: Breathe with Sophie
With the body open and supported, Sophie will guide you through a 90-minute transformational conscious-connected breathwork experience. Using individual headsets and eye masks, you can remain private and focused on your own process. The breath may help you move accumulated stress, emotion and physical tension through the body. Every experience is different. Some people feel an emotional release, while others experience clarity, insight, physical sensation, or a deep sense of calm. Nothing is forced, and you remain in control of your experience throughout.
INTEGRATE: Reflect with Sophie
The most meaningful shifts happen through integration. We finish with time to rest, allow your breathing to return to normal, and let the experience settle. Sophie will also guide you through practical functional breathing techniques you can use in everyday life when you feel stressed, overwhelmed, reactive or unable to switch off.
Why this sequence works
Each stage prepares your body and nervous system for the next. Meditation helps you arrive. Yin creates space and softens physical tension. The pause gives you time to reset before the breathwork begins. Breathwork uses that openness to support release, and integration helps you carry the experience into everyday life. Rather than moving straight into an intense experience, we build the conditions gradually so your body can respond at its own pace.
You may leave with:
Less physical and mental tension
A quieter mind
A greater sense of space in your body
Practical breathing tools for managing pressure
A clearer understanding of how stress shows up for you
More capacity for whatever life is asking of you
The feeling that, for a few hours, you didn’t have to carry everything

- What can I expect?
Each session combines education, gentle yin and stretching, guided breathing, nervous system regulation and time for integration.
Some people experience deep relaxation. Others feel emotional release, clarity, joy or insight. Every experience is different, and there is no right or wrong way to experience a session.
Our focus isn't creating dramatic experiences - it's helping you build greater awareness, regulation and capacity that supports everyday life.
- Is it safe?
Your safety is our highest priority.
All sessions are trauma-informed and facilitated with care. You are always in control of your experience, and you can slow down, pause or stop at any time.
Before every session we'll explain exactly what to expect and answer any questions you may have. We do not push people into having dramatic or overwhelming experiences, we will have several facilitators holding space to ensure everyone is kept safe and supported.
- Is this therapy?
No.
Our sessions are educational and wellbeing experiences designed to support nervous system regulation, self-awareness and emotional wellbeing.
They are not a substitute for psychological, psychiatric or medical treatment. If you're currently receiving support from a healthcare professional, breathwork may complement your existing care, and we encourage you to discuss participation with your treating practitioner if you're unsure.
