The Great Gig at the Gabba

The Great Gig at the Gabba is a collaboration. It's about giving people the chance to hear new music being made by bands and musicians.

Veneer Road emerges from time honored tradition of jamming in your lounge room. The sound is Ethiopian jazz ,Chicago blues, Sun Ra in a jamming groove feel.

The Funky Butt Club bring their freewheeling jazz style. It's Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday and Otis Redding and Lou Reed to Sun Ra and Coltrane and growing number of originals. The free blowing Funkies are fronted by vocalist Pearl singing songs and wordless voice. All done with fun. 

Some of the Funkies will join playing with Venner Road; some of Venner Road will help out The Funkies.
