The Great Kiwi Summer Festival

Welcome to the Biggest Celebration of Summer

The Great Kiwi Summer Festival brings together a variety of events to provide 2-days of family fun and entertainment on the shores of Lake Karapiro in Cambridge on 9 - 10 November.   In 2024 the Great Kiwi Summer Festival will feature the Shaw's Illuminate Light and Sound Show, Cambridge Hunting and Fishing Outdoor Expo, Feildline Franklin Farm Freestyle Dreams, Waterworld, Armistice in Cambridge!

Come for the day or come for the weekend and enjoy  the Great Kiwi Summer Fesitval, Lake Karapiro, Cambridge and everything  the Mighty Waikato has to offer. Tickets are required and can be pre-purchased online here.  Numbers are limited for each day. Gate sales will be available if not sold out earlier. 

Each ticket provides access to the venue for the full day of purchase.  Each Ticket is for 1 x car and includes occupants.  Does not include any additional pay-to-play options. 

• Saturday includes entry to Shaw's Illuminate Light and Sound Show, Cambridge Hunting and Fishing Outdoor Expo, Fieldline Franklin Farm Freestyle Dreams and Armistice in Cambridge.
• Sunday includes entry to Cambridge Hunting and Fishing Outdoor Expo, Fieldline Franklin Farm Freestyle Dreams and Armistice in Cambridge. 

Tickets start at $25 per vehicle (plus processing fees) and include the occupants.  We trust you to decide what the event is worth to you and what you feel you are able to contribute and thank you for any level of contribution/support.  Your contribution helps us cover costs and to put us in the position to be able to continue to provide amazing experience in future years as well as supporting local charities such as the Cambridge Volunteer Fire Brigade and the Armistice in Cambridge Incorporated Society. 

* Ticket fee includes entry into the venue for the whole day (including  viewing of the Outdoor Expo, Armistice, Illuminate Light and Sound Show (Saturday only), Freestyle Dreams, On Water demostrations) but does not include any activities that are pay-to-play activities (Waterworld, Cam Jet, Highropes etc).
