Event description

Together with community gardens and Landcare groups, PermacultureWest is bringing Wheatbelt communities a fun, relevant and interactive day.

Come celebrate ways to reduce waste, save money and care for people and communities!

We will reflect on household waste, learn about practical local and international initiatives, share experiences, and design personalised household waste strategies using permaculture principles.

Thanks to the Waste Authority we have some great giveaways and incentives to help participants reduce household waste going to landfill.

And it doesn't stop there! Ongoing support will be offered.

On the day:

Refreshments will be provided and waste free living showcased.

Format:

3hr Indoor morning workshop

Bring something to share for lunch!

1.5hr Outdoor compost session in the afternoon
