Join us for the Great Refugee Week Picnic 2025, a city-wide celebration of community, culture, and connection under the theme “Community as a Superpower.” This inclusive event brings together people from all walks of life—refugees, asylum seekers, local residents, NIHE tenants, students, and community groups—to share in a day of unity and celebration.
What to Expect:
- Live cultural performances from local and refugee artists
- Free food and refreshments representing global cuisines
- Children’s activities including face painting, crafts, and storytelling
- Community information stalls from local services and support organisations
- Interactive art wall and a showcase of community stories
- Volunteer recognition ceremony
This event is free and open to all, but registration is encouraged to help us plan for catering and activities.
