The Great Reset - Awakening Perspectives

Event description

Society and Capitalism as we know it are at a colossal crossroads.

In 2020, the World Economic Forum (WEF) launched The Great Reset, a global strategy to rebuild the foundations of our social and economic system. Prepared over the last decade and set into motion during the window of opportunity presented by COVID-19, the strategy is all-encompassing, impacting every area of our lives and calling for global leaders to execute it in their sphere.

We began conversations at our Members Town Halls on how 2020 might be a turning point for Capitalism, and what might that mean for Conscious Capitalists.

Since then, events have unfolded rapidly. We saw the launch of Imperative21, continued discussions at the WEF Davos event in January this year and first implementations in Australia and other regions of the world.

We now reconvene a public dialogue digging deeper into The Great Reset and what it means across the various facets of humanity - from our inalienable rights, to social justice & equity, business, climate change, individual freedoms, responsibilities, collective good, power, authority and obedience.

Join us

Let’s share perspectives and engage in dialogue around the broad and deep implications of this shift in capitalism and our lives as a whole.

  • What is “The Great Reset” about?
  • What is the Davos Agenda and the drivers, principles, policies and partnerships involved?
  • What does it mean for the world, and us as individuals, families and communities?
  • How do we, as Conscious Capitalists, responsible and active citizens, aware members of the business community, and members of other social and environmental groups, responsibly act in relation to what is unfolding?

What to expect?

An engaging and participative conversation with breakout groups, where you get to meet and deep dive with others on a topic. We will share a list of resources beforehand. You will also be invited to bring any resources or perspectives to discuss and share with the group.

The intention is for the group to gather an informed, well-rounded perspective around the Great Reset, understand the decisions and choices being made, and how the way in which we respond has far-reaching influences on numerous aspects of society, at both the individual and collective levels.
