The Great Stout Bout

The QLD Great Stout Bout 2025 is a one-day-only celebration of bold, dark beer—where 15 of Queensland’s best breweries go head-to-head in a no-holds-barred flavour battle. Hosted by Mouse Proof Brewing in Toowoomba on June 21st, the event invites punters to sample a curated paddle of stouts and vote for The People’s Champion, while a panel of industry judges crowns the Champion of the Ring. Think beer festival meets prize fight—set in a heritage-listed venue with music, awesome food, and good company. For those not into stout, alternative drinks like cider, ginger beer, wine, or spirits are included.
