The Great Waikato Critters Competition 2025

By purchasing your entry you agree to the following rules.

• Junior - aged 8yrs and under as of Sunday 29th June.
• Senior - aged 9-18yrs as of Sunday 29th June. 
• Judges decision is final.
• No rotten or heavily damaged animals.
• Children must be present to receive any prizes. 
• Hunting starts Friday 27th June.
• Weigh in Sunday 12-2pm (2pm final) at Te Akau Community Complex, 616 Te Akau Road
• No frozen of domestic animals to be entered.
• One animal per category per child, the same animal cannot be weighed more than once. 
• In the event of two animals weighing the same, the first animal weighed wins the prize. 
• Be safe and have fun!
