The Grounded Man
Description
About the evening: This special evening is an invitation to slow down, share good food and explore what it might mean as a man to live with greater groundedness and wholeness.
Through hospitality, conversation, reflection and simple embodied practices, we’ll create space to become more present to ourselves and one another, and curious about the different qualities and energies we draw upon as men. There will be room for openness, silence, laughter and honest conversation — and for whatever we might discover when we give ourselves time to pay attention.
Numbers are strictly limited to six, allowing plenty of space for genuine connection and authentic sharing. Tickets include food and drinks.
Hosted by Matt Morris, founder of Urban Monk Quests and chair of the Ōtautahi Urban Monastery Trust. Matt has more than a decade’s experience of gathering with men and has trained in spiritual companioning and masculine embodiment. His approach is contemplative, embodied and grounded in hospitality rather than prescriptions about what a man should be.
