Join Bridge Road Brewers in beautiful Beechworth as we celebrate the Victorian hop harvest at The High Country Hop, Australia’s favourite destination beer + music festival.
On the village green of the Historic Precinct Reserve, taste the season’s freshest ales, wines and spirits from over 20 of the best independent producers of the High Country and beyond, including harvest beers brewed with hops picked just a few kilometres down the road.
Catch live music on the main stage featuring a lineup that swings from heartfelt haze to psych, soul and rock’n’roll. It’s all ages with kids face painting and imaginations are brought to life with Box Wars, so bring the whole crew. Full artist and feature brewery lineup dropping soon.

- WHEN AND WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL
The main festival is on Saturday March 20 at The Beechworth Historic Precinct Reserve, Victoria.
- WHATS INCLUDED IN THE TICKETS?
Hopped Up Admission (18+ only): includes a festival glass and $10 worth of drink token (applicable to alc and non-alc).
Youth Admission (U18): soft drink, Box Wars entry and complimentary face painting token.
Family Admission: 2x Hopped Up Admission and 2x Youth Admission.
- WHAT IS BOX WARS?
Boxwars is a high-energy performance art event where participants build elaborate creations out of recycled cardboard and completely destroy them in a spectacular mock battle. Part creative workshop and part chaotic demolition derby, the ultimate goal is to have fun and reduce beautiful cardboard engineering to absolute ruins.
Is Boxwars safe for kids?
Yes. While the battle looks chaotic, it is a supervised, high-energy game designed for pure fun. There are dedicated, age-appropriate building workshops prior to the main event so kids can craft their own armour and safely join in the action.What materials are allowed?
It's strictly recycled cardboard, paper packing tape and eco-friendly glue. Plastics, metal, wood, or heavy unyielding materials are banned from the battlefield to ensure everyone stays safe.What happens to all the cardboard afterwards?
We take recycling seriously. Once the battlefield is cleared and the dust settles, every single piece of shredded cardboard is collected and packed into recycling skips to be processed and turned into new cardboard boxes. - ARE PETS ALLOWED TO ATTEND?
While we love all fur-babies, this is a human only event. Service animals are an exception.
- WILL TICKETS BE AVAILABLE AT THE GATE?
Potentially, we can't make any promises if the event sells out. We recommend purchasing now.
- ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERRABLE?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the case of event cancellation due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, we will provide information on refunds or rescheduled dates. Please ensure you can attend before purchasing your ticket.
- IS THERE SEATING AVAILABLE?
We have plenty of seating available throughout the site. Everyone is welcome to bring their own camper chairs and picnic rugs.
