You are invited to join us for a very special fireside chat with the Minister for Industry and Science, the Hon. Ed Husic MP, presented by Spark Festival and the Australian Computer Society.
Minister Husic was sworn in as Minister for Industry and Science on 1 June 2022.
Since then, the Minister has set a cracking pace, bringing forward policy initiatives that build on the important work he did in opposition to engage with the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
We have heard from the Minister on a national quantum strategy, the Startup Year entrepreneur loan program, a renewal of the national science and research priorities, the need for diversity across science and technology, the important role of technology in transitioning to a sustainable economy and of course the important contribution to the jobs and skills summit.
This fireside chat will allow us to hear more from Minister Husic on these and other important policy initiatives such as the National Reconstruction Fund.
