The HOOT '24 - The Huskisson Olympic Offroad Triathlon
Event description
Set on the pristine shores of Jervis Bay, The HOOT is the gritty offroad offspring of the traditional triathlon’s lycra clad Dad. It consists of a 1.5km swim in crystal clear waters, a ~33km gravel ride through gnarled south coast bushland, and a 10km run along the beach on firm white sand.
There will be a half-HOOT option for each leg. Feel free to mix and match distances, do a relay, or whatever you want. It's all the same $50 ticket.
The HOOT is an event for outdoor adventure lovers of all ages and genders. The cycle is self-guided via our route on Komoot which we will send to ticketholders. Komoot is a free and easy-to-use app on iOS and Android. You'll need a way to carry your phone on your bike or in your pockets.
Feel free to come hang out at the finish line even if you're not doing the triathlon, we'll have games, music and picnic spots for everyone. It’ll be a HOOT!
The HOOT 2024 is limited to just 40 places.
The HOOT takes place on the land of the Yuin and Dharawal peoples. Sovereignty was never ceded and we pay respects to elders past, present and emerging.
