The Hootie Tooties are an exciting gypsy jazz, roots and bluegrass fusion quartet from regional Victoria.
Comprising four long-standing friends and established musicians, the group formed in 2025 to experiment with intricate harmonies and creative lyrics.
The Hootie Tooties launched into the scene after being selected to perform at Woodford Folk Festival 2025/26. After a successful launch, selling out all of their demo cd's after one tour, they teamed up with Academy Award-winning screenwriter, composer and producer Brian Cachia to record their leading singles off their upcoming Debut album with support from Regional Arts Victoria funding this production. Following this, they sold out their first headline concert at Matsumura Blues Festival - Jailhouse Concert Series, and have been selected to perform at many prestigious events including, The Blues Train - Queenscliff, Cygnet Folk Festival, St Albans Folk Festival, Illawarra Folk Festival, Cobargo Folk Festival and a four month residency at The Winter Sessions - Shepperton.
The Hootie Tooties incorporate theatrics and comedy throughout their material to deliver a mixture of upbeat and light-hearted songs accompanied by explosive guitar pieces and overlapping four-part harmonies making them a truly unique and exciting act to experience in the Australian music scene.
