Getting to The Button Factory 📍 2 Abbey Street, Auckland The Button Factory is located just off Karangahape Road (K’ Road) and is easily accessible by public transport. Public transport is recommended where possible. Limited paid street parking is available on Abbey Street and surrounding streets, so please allow a little extra time if you’re planning to drive.

Entry instructions

Enter The Button Factory via the main entrance at 2 Abbey Street. Please have your Humanitix ticket ready on your phone for check-in when you arrive. There’s no need to print your ticket.

After entry instructions

Once you’ve checked in, head to the downstairs level, where the full exhibition and Opening Evening will take place. The exhibition has been set up downstairs to keep the experience easy to navigate. From there, there’s no set route - wander, take your time, explore the stories and interactive experiences, and connect with the people around you. Make yourself at home. 🤍

Hazards

The exhibition includes framed artworks, furniture and interactive installations throughout the space. Please take care when moving around the gallery, particularly in busy areas. Some exhibition content explores body image, vulnerability and personal experiences and may include artistic nudity. If you have any accessibility or safety concerns, please speak with a member of the event team.
