Tony Carne runs the Everything AI in Travel newsletter & podcast as well as being Founder at the AI native startup, Videreo which brings creators and brands together to drive new sales growth.
He has just under 7,000 LinkedIn Followers, most of which follow him for his ‘Everything in Ai Travel’ newsletter which is jam-packed with up-to-date latest Ai information directly relevant to the tourism industry.
Tony has a history of being in travel, primarily that of being Managing Director of Intrepid Travel where he was with the company for close on 13 years. Tony has now dived deep into the Ai rabbit hole whilst keeping his focus on developing a cutting-edge platform that puts social travel videos on the map by making a travel content creator's entire catalogue of videos searchable by location.
This act of searching is an act of intent (also aligned with Ai and one of the ways it will be working moving forward) brings the user down the funnel from inspiration and into the booking window more rapidly.
If any of you are familiar with Ai and how it works, this is the way a lot of Ai is moving – e.g. Expedia have just announced that they will be matching their travel products up with Instagram videos and where people can book directly.
