The Independent YOUng Person // YOUTH WEEK 2025
Event description
Becoming independent is what all YOUng people want, right? These professionals are going to show you how to work, play and live life independently!
In this one off session, you will have the chance to learn key skills in:
💸 budgeting, loans and automatic payments
📱 setting up MyGov and eligible support payments for young people
💼 writing resumes and getting job ready
🍺 navigating peer pressure around drugs and alcohol + having a 'make it home safe' plan
⏰ creating healthy daily routines in life and at work
🏠 understanding rental agreements and how to be a good tenant
This event is for 12 - 25 year old's as part of our 2025 NSW Youth Week Program.
Ticket registration is preferred.

Tuesday 22 April
11:00AM - 1:00PM
Cost:
FREE for a young person (aged 12 - 25)
FREE for an adult (parent, carer and/or circle of support)
