Event description

What’s it all about?

More and more of us are living in apartments these days. If you're looking to buy an apartment, or you've already done so, have you given any though to the Owners' Corporation - the legal body that makes decisions for the collective property?

This class has been organised to explain what an Owners Corporation is, how it works and what your relationship is to it once you have purchased an apartment or townhouse within a complex or building. It will also focus on the AGM as an important tool for getting things done!

Bring along your questions and we will explore the world of community living together.

Robyn Bunting is a registered Owners Corporation Manager with 10 years practical experience managing apartment blocks in Melbourne and believes that educating owners about their decision to purchase in an owners corporation is paramount to growing community.

What will we cover?

In this class you will learn:

  • What is an Owners' Corporation?
  • What does it do, what does it cost, how do I know?
  • Getting the most from the AGM
