Event description

I am delighted to invite you on behalf of the Bioscience Enterprise Programme to the start of the 2025 evening forums.  We are starting the first in our series of networking events on Thursday 27 February 2025 from 4.30 for a 5.00 pm start.

Guest Speaker: Distinguished Professor Peter Hunter

Title: The intersection of physics and computational physiology

Professor Peter Hunter FRS was founding Director of the Auckland Bioengineering Institute (ABI) and of the Medical Technologies Centre of Research Excellence (MedTech CoRE). His research interests are in modelling human physiology using an anatomical and biophysically based multi-scale approach that links molecular processes to tissue level phenotypes.

Come along and hear how Peter, his team and collaborators are applying physics to biomed challenges.
