The IT Grrrls + Unseen (Gig + Book Launch)
Description
This is a special event celebrating Carol Wapshere's publication of her memoir How to be an IT Grrrl, which traces a career “that spans decades, countries and a tech industry that was not built with people like her in mind”. Marking the occasion will be special performances from Carol’s bands, both old and new. First-up is a one-off reunion of '90s Newtown obscurists Unseen, followed by the riotous tech industry skewering of Canberra's IT Grrrls.
