The Italian Winter's Lunch at The Dairy
Event description
The Italian Winter's Lunch at The Dairy
As the cooler months settle in, we’re excited to bring you a new seasonal edition of our much-loved long lunch—celebrating the warmth, generosity, and comfort of Italian food shared around the table.
For nearly a century, The Dairy at Burringbar has been nestled in lush green fields, surrounded by rolling hills, Jersey cows, and happy hens. Our family has cared for this land for almost 50 years, with three generations growing up here—milking cows, collecting eggs, making butter and cheese, and gathering for long, abundant meals with family and friends.
Winter has always held a special kind of magic for us. It’s a time for slow cooking, rich flavours, and gathering close. Some of our fondest memories are of hearty Sunday lunches with Nonna—where the fire was warm, the pasta handmade, and the table overflowing with roasted meats, seasonal vegetables, and rustic breads straight from the oven.
Now, we invite you to experience this winter tradition with us. Take your seat at our long table, surrounded by the beauty of the farm, and savour a generous Italian feast inspired by the villages of our heritage—both north and south.
Our past events have sold out quickly, so don’t miss your seat at the table. We can’t wait to share this cosy and delicious winter afternoon with you.
