    Event description

Hawkesbury Environment Network and Western Sydney University's Sustainability and Education Partnerships team present The Koalas film screening and Q&A on Saturday August 10 at 4pm.

After the film we will have the opportunity to discuss what is happening with the koala population in the Hawkesbury and surrounds and how we can help protect and support them. We have three speaks to start the Q&A session:

Morgan Philpot – WIRES Koala expert

Lilly Schwartz – coordinator of the Hills Hornsby Rural Koala Project

Stephanie Carrick – Sydney Basin Koala Network

Matilda Julian and Tim Rymer from HEN will be facilitating.

There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion. There will also be information stalls at the event of local groups that work to protect koalas. So, if you want to find out what is happening and what you can do to help, come along!

Parking is free if you park in the carpark P14 ONLY (located behind G-Block). Attendees may park in any of the marked bays (yellow or blue). Parking on the grass or outside of this designated carpark may result in a parking fine. Entry into the campus is via Vines Drive (off Londonderry Road). Please see the campus map here for direction: https://www.westernsydney.edu.au/content/dam/digital/pdf/campus-maps/Hawkesbury_Campus_General.pdf
