The Kollektiv Kids Social

Less screen. More scene.

Kollektiv Kids Social is an hour of outdoor fun for kids aged 5–12 at the Kalbar Showgrounds. It’s about getting kids off their devices and outside, moving, connecting with other kids and trying something new.

Each session is a mix of outdoor games, different sports and team challenges. At our first session the kids played target games, soccer, block busters and even a bit of darts, and had a ball doing it. No experience is needed and every child is welcome, whether they’re sporty or just keen to have a go.

What to expect

• Outdoor games and movement: get active, have fun and burn off some after-school energy

• A mix of sports: something different every session, so there’s always something new to try

• Team challenges: building teamwork, communication and problem-solving

• Confidence and connection: having a go, making new friends and backing each other

Most importantly, it’s about having fun, trying something new and being part of the group.
