The Lady's not for Burning, set in "1400, either more or less or exactly", is one of Christofer Fry's most well-known works. First performed in 1948, its life-affirming post-war optimism was an instant success with audiences and critics alike. Today, its humour and delightful storytelling are just as enjoyably satisying as they were then.
This is a community theatre production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books and The Play Bureau.
