You know the phrase. You've said it mid scene, post scene, in the group chat when someone asked if you were okay after last weekend. "I'm fine." Two words doing the heaviest lifting in the English language, and half the time they're not even true.

This class is about what's actually happening underneath that sentence. Not as a moral failing, not as some big dramatic reveal, just as the very ordinary, very human habit of performing okay when what we actually have is depleted, overstimulated, touched out, or quietly not okay at all.

We're going to talk about the difference between consent and capacity, because they are not the same thing, and a lot of us have been taught to treat them as interchangeable. We're going to talk about why bottoms perform fine to avoid disappointing, why tops perform fine to avoid looking like they can't hold the space they claimed, and why "I'm fine, don't worry about it" is doing a lot more relational damage than it looks like from the outside.

You'll walk away with real language to replace the flat check in, tools for spotting the tells (in yourself and in the people you play with), and a working sense of why telling the truth about your capacity is an act of intimacy, not weakness.
