The Light of Truth: Richard Hunt's Monument to Ida B. Wells-Loyola University Chicago Screening

Immerse yourself in the history and cultural impact of renowned sculptor Richard Hunt and activist Ida B. Wells at Loyola University Chicago this Friday, July 11th. Hosted at Loyola's picturesque Lake Shore Campus, the WINNER of the 60th Chicago International Film Festival AUDIENCE AWARD FOR BEST DOCUMENTARY will be screening at 6:00pm in the Damen Cinema (located in the Damen Student Center at 6511 N Sheridan Road, Chicago, IL 60626). Filmmakers Rana Segal, Laurie Little, and Vincent Singleton will be in attendance for Q&A following the film.
Proceeds from ticket sales assist the independent filmmakers in continuing grassroots efforts to share the film and importance of these notable historical figures with communities across the globe.
Profits from Humanatix ticket sales are donated to charity.
