The Live Dating Show! (Night 1)

When one door closes, another door opens. A grandiose garret awaits, dark yet delightful. As all of a sudden there you are right in front of me. Before you've even pronounced your name, I'm perfumed with notes of closeness. Your shyness is endearing. Pretty hands. Witty. Intrigued.

Welcome to Third Rodeo's Live Dating Show! Join us on the evening of Friday 26 July at The Birmingham Hotel (upstairs) Fitzroy. This space is privately booked out for you to make connections among the Lesbian/Queer community. It's a charming, darling, group of individuals. 

We will start the evening off with casual drinks and networking. Get familiar with the sounds of the show and the curve on their tone of voice. Make eye contact. Introduce yourself. Linger and burn in the tension spoken from their lips.  

The Live Dating Show! This will involve audience interactions, mini games and live storytelling. The questions are humorous, bold and imaginative. 

There are 60 seats available. You will approximately go on 5 dates. With each date lasting 5 minutes, answering 1 question (1v1: 2.30 minute per person). You will rotate going on a date within your allocated group. After each round, we will select volunteers to repeat their answers to the crowd. It's a great way to leave an everlasting impression on the group. We want your personalities to do all the talking! 

We will finish the dates by playing a large game of heads or tails. Lucky last standing will win a prize! (It is scientifically proven that your level of hotness will double (now that's a lot of hotness from you) if you win and it's guaranteed to impress your dates!) 

The Live Dating segment is designed for you to ease into yourself and have fun. After the rounds, we will return back to social networking style conversations where you can go and make connections with everyone else. 

★ Call me cards: Keep in contact with each other. Write your details down on one of the 'Call me Cards' displayed around the venue and give it to them. It's a lovely gesture, an old fashion trick that works like charm!

This is operating at a licensed venue. Please do not BYO. This event is designed for persons 20+. Photography will be present. Please be mindful and respectful to the venue property <3. This event is not wheelchair accessible and we apologise for this inconvenience.

Third Rodeo Background

THIRD provides a safe dedicated Lesbian/Queer space for people in their 20s+ to make connections. The vibe is relaxed, charming, a bit raunchy at times, but most importantly its a safe community. Come solo or with pals - whatever you decide, you will be left made with real connections.

We've hosted several successful events in Naarm/Melbourne, on Gadigal Land Sydney, and now Meanjin/Brisbane. I've personally met all my beautiful queer friends through this. I understand how daunting it may be to rock up alone and speak to people, but you'll soon realise that everyone wants the same thing and that everyone is so incredibly friendly. If you haven't already seen my Tiktoks or Instagram, the vibe is like The Planet from the L Word - HAHA!
