Description

Temperatures are rising, environments are altering. How can reading, and reading together, help make sense of this, and create opportunities for different kinds of thinking?

Join us for two free pop-up book groups for students aged 10+ that will explore these questions and more through reading and discussion of Shivaun Plozza’s Running in Circles.

Themes will include 'my place', 'belonging', 'identity', 'climate', and 'non-humans', and the sessions will explore how stories can support connection, inclusion, care, social action, advocacy, and change.

Session 1: Monday 7 September, in-person at Robinvale Library, 4-5.30pm

Session 2: Monday 5 October, via Zoom, with an author Q&A, 4.15-5.15pm (see link below)
