The AWESOME International Arts Festival for Bright Young Things presents 'The Lost Little Llama' and 'Little Red Riding Hood' in RAVENSTHORPE - ideal for families, school groups, and anyone who loves dance!
Lost Little Llama
Meet our adventurous little llama who loves nothing more than running, jumping, and dancing! When one spectacular leap takes her far from home, she finds herself on an unexpected journey through the Australian bush. Alongside a mischievous kookaburra and a cast of crafty characters, our dancing llama discovers that sometimes getting lost is the best way to find yourself.
“This performance brings ballet into an authentically Australian setting, both in the narrative and
on our city streets. It is an ideal introductory ballet for the young and those young at heart...”
— Bethany Stopher, SeeSaw Magazine
Little Red Riding Hood
In this empowering reimagining, our brave heroine, Little Red, takes matters into her own hands when she encounters a "vegetarian" Wolf and saves her hippie Granny. With classical ballet interwoven with poetry and song, along with plenty of surprising twists and turns, this heartwarming production will delight audiences of all ages.
“Andries Weidemann’s light-hearted choreography is the perfect introduction to classical ballet”
— Bethany Stopher, SeeSaw Magazine
