Event description
The Lotto Line is an original absurdist comedy written by John Tsakiris, making its world premiere at Flow Studios in April 2025. Presented by Studio 5 Productions, this show is bound to have you in stitches whether you’re a regular theatre-goer, a first-timer, or a stack of toddlers in a trench coat.
This play follows an unlikely community of five unfortunate customers and one unhinged Lotto Master, for whom life operates as a daily repetition of purchasing lotto tickets, receiving the rules, and announcing the winners - or lack thereof.
But nothing exists between each lottery. Except waiting. Sweet, sweet waiting. However, when the lotto line dares to break their custom of transitory stillness, time is inadvertently frozen and this motley crew becomes responsible for breathing life back into the universe.
While time may not be of the essence, the price for incompetence is an eternity of stagnation.
The show's running time is 1.5 hours.
