About ADAM: A Decade of Safe Spaces

ADAM was created over a decade ago with a clear mission: to provide a safe and stigma-free space for predominantly same-sex attracted men to socialise naked. While other BUFF events are gender-inclusive, ADAM in Melbourne remains a 'male-only' event, respectfully maintaining its original focus

Our Manifesto: Safety, Consent & Respect

1. Vibe
   This is a space for men and masculine-identifying adults (18+) who are attracted to other men - all races, body types and sub‑cultures celebrated. No spectators or haters. Please participate respectfully

2. Safety & consent
   Consent must be clear, enthusiastic and ongoing. Everyone must actively check for consent before and during any activity. “No”, “Maybe” or unresponsive = stop. Consent can be withdrawn anytime. Breaches = instant removal and referral to Victoria Police. CCTV in operation for security purposes. Footage is confidential

3. Respect & care
   Look out for each other, call out bad behaviour, and flag staff if something feels off. No photos or videos without the clear consent of everyone shown. Our team is here to help

4. Entry & access
   Government photo ID required. 18+ only. Contact us before booking if you require accessible arrangements

5. Potentially confronting
   Consensual adult kink scenes, nudity and explicit acts may occur in full view, and you might be invited to join in. Participation is always optional. Alcohol or other substances can impair your ability to give or recognise consent. Expect strobes, lasers, loud sound, haze and slippery floors. If any of that feels outside your comfort zone, this event may not be right for you
