Step into a world of enchanted fairies, sparkling tutus and spectacular dancing with Brisbane Ballet’s The Magic of Ballet — a delightful introduction to live ballet for children aged 3 years and over and their families.

Please note this is a brand-new show with different excerpts not seen in previous shows.

Discover excerpts from four much-loved ballets: Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and Paquita. Experience the dazzling turns and dramatic partnership of the Black Swan pas de deux, the delicate magic of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, and the enchanting dances of the Lilac Fairy and her fellow fairies from The Sleeping Beauty. Excerpts from Paquita bring sparkling classical dancing to this colourful celebration.

With beautiful costumes, wonderful music and moments to inspire young imaginations, this is a chance to share the wonder of ballet with your little ones — whether it’s their first theatre visit or they already love to dance.
