Event description

The third installment of The Magic of Folklore Series. In this class we will look at all those creatures that go bump in the night. We will explore the Ozark concept of the otherworld and how the spirits who dwell there can both help and harm those of the human realm. Using traditional ghost stories as our guide, we will learn how to identify troublemaking spirits as well as what we can do to magically protect ourselves from such hauntings. And finally, we'll look at the role of the exorcist in traditional Ozark culture and how that has changed into the modern world.

Recordings will be emailed to all ticket holders after the event.
