We would love to invite you to our exclusive one-day retreat designed to let you come back to yourself, relax and let go of the day to day hustle and bustle, so you can enter the holiday period grounded and connected to yourself.

Horses have the ability to pick up on our energy levels and emotions, clearly mirroring these back to us in a non-judgemental way. This natural awareness provides us with clear guidance on how to be kinder to ourselves, while also gently challenging the perceptions and beliefs we have of ourselves and others.

The program is designed to help you reconnect to the present moment, to empower you to embrace your values and goals, to help you gain clarity and balance in your life, and to just give yourself time to feel grounded and relaxed before entering the stressful holiday period. No prior experience with horses is necessary, all of our activities with the horses are gentle, easy to master, with your feet firmly on the ground.

Once you arrive at our little piece of Wellington paradise in the lush hills, we will start the day with a grounding meditation and relaxing yin yoga session, after which you will have the time to meet our lovely horses.

The rest of the day will consist of;

several mindfulness exercises with the horses
guided connection and sharing circles
personal reflections
and nourishing meals to keep you well fed and energised.

By the end of this experience, you’ll feel grounded, refreshed, and ready to take on the world with renewed energy.

At Reretau retreats we work in small groups, in order to provide you with the most transformative experience, which means spots are limited.

This is an all-inclusive event held outdoors, so besides bringing yourself, please

dress in weather appropriate clothing that is comfortable to move in
wear sturdy closed toed shoes
bring sun protection
and bring a weather proof jacket if rain is forecast.

In case of bad weather, the retreat will be rescheduled to Sunday, 24th November or Saturday, 30th November. If these dates don't work for you, you can apply the credit towards one of our upcoming retreats within six months.
