Event description

This session will be a collaborated event between Mediation Institute in Australia and Suluhu Mediation in Kenya.

Mi Director of Applied Learning Ken Speakman will help participants to deepen their understanding of the Facilitative Mediation Process so that they know it back to front.

Why back to front?

While coaching hundreds of learners Ken realised that sometimes people go through the mediation process without realising the linkages between each stage in the process.

When you learn the process from back to front it helps to really understand the purpose of each step in the process is to enable the next step and enhances the linkages between each.

Participants in this online workshop will emerge with a greater understanding of:

  • the 3 stage, 9 step mediation process
  • how to best transition between each step in the proces
  • why we do what we do at each step
  • how to enhance the likelihood of agreement (remember we can't ethically promise clients that they will reach agreement in mediation)

There will be the opportunity to ask questions during the session via chat and discussion towards the end of the session.
