Event description

The Medicine of Belonging with Western Red Cedar

Red Cedar helps us understand our place here on Earth, a place that is intricately interwoven with all Life. She helps us to feel held, and guides us into our seat of center so that we can feel sturdy enough to emanate our truth, and share what’s ours to share for the collective.

During these times of awakening and upheaval, it's more important than ever to remember our alignment and allyship with the forces of the Earth, and our own unique gifts for the collective, rooted in relationship with all of Life.

And at this time of Lughnasadh, or the mid-way point between Summer Solstice + Fall Equinox, we're ushered into the second half of Summer, with themes of abundance, gratitude, belonging.

Lughnasadh reminds us that the expansive days of summer are numbered, to bask in gratitude for all we’ve been given in this plump time of abundance, and to remember our humble place amidst it all.

In this ceremonial workshop we will be guided by Red Cedar’s medicine to find a sense of safety and belonging in our bodies and align with our truth within.

(You don't need to have Red Cedar's medicine with you physically to journey with them! We will call in the spirit to be with us.)

We will journey with Red Cedar to receive embodied healing, and insights about claiming not only our belonging, but also our unique medicine for these times. You’ll be guided to connect with a landscape of empowerment within you that’s inextricably connected to your medicine.

I offered this workshop at Plants Enchant this year, and received such beautiful feedback that I wanted to offer it to the wider world. My prayer is that it serves your sense of connection, empowerment, and service to the collective Earth.

Amy Terepka is a bodyworker, earth medicine practitioner, priestess, writer, and teacher in Portland, OR. She has has been a student of the plants for close to 20 years, and has held ceremony and taught plant spirit medicine for the past 12 yrs.

She has a deep understanding of the connection between the body, mind, and spirit, and is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their bodies and the Earth, particularly with the support from the plant realms. She offers a unique, holistic approach to healing through her bodywork practice, Groundwater Healing, which includes an embodied approach to spiritual medicine.

And she runs The Golden Stone Wisdom School, a place where we remember our belonging to ourselves and the wider forces of Life, through embodied spiritual medicine, and animistic encounters. You can find her on IG @groundwaterhealing
