The Men's Table Entree'
Event description
An introduction to The Mens Table through stories and dialogue over dinner..
for men interested in being part of newly forming Men’s Tables
"IÂ feel very encouraged about the opportunity this presents for men in Sydney; to come together and be real with each other"Â
- Adam, Entree' attendee
--Â
The Entree evening is intended to be an open dialogue over a meal. It will include Ben and David sharing our experiences of Men's Table #1, and responding to your questions, concerns and ideas as you consider joining, or starting, a newly forming Men's Table group.
--
The Men’s Table #1 began in 2011 with 12 men who have met once a month for dinner ever since.
The Men’s Table creates a unique environment for men to share openly about their lives, their challenges, their highs and low with a group of men who they grow to trust and respect.
The Men’s Table creates a sense of belonging, community, peer support and camaraderie that is lacking for many men, even for some who already have a group of mates.
Belonging to a Men’s Table contributes to mental, emotional and social wellbeing whilst being a powerful support to individual members travelling life journeys.
Each Men’s Table will be a distinct expression of the needs and personalities of its members, guided by the principles, agreements, and learning generated from Men’s Table #1, and supported by TheMensTable.org
The Men’s Table Network will be the collective community of men from all Men’s Tables who can share, learn, connect and collaborate based on mutual needs, interests, geographies, careers, or life-circumstances through TheMensTable.org
Men’s Tables are initiated by 2 or more men who wish to form or join a new group, commence with a regular monthly meeting and are capped at 12 members.
TheMensTable.org supports the group’s self-organising, self-determined evolution with guidelines that have been learned through experience.
