Motherhood is rewarding—but let’s be real, it’s also exhausting. From remembering appointments and birthday parties to planning meals and managing emotions (not just the kids’!), the “mental load” is real—and it's heavy.
Join us for an evening designed especially for mums in the Macedon Ranges to explore the invisible labour many women carry in their homes and families. Together, we’ll unpack what the mental load is, how it impacts our mental health, and most importantly—what we can do about it.
Whether you’ve never heard of the mental load before, or you’ve known about it for years but don’t know how to lighten it—this session is for you. Partners are welcome too! This is a must-attend if you’re looking to better understand and support the mental wellbeing of the mothers in your life.
This is more than a talk—it’s an opportunity to connect, learn, and feel seen.
Ticketing note: If you'd love to come but money's tight, please email me on [email protected] we have a few low-income tickets available thanks to our generous sponsors.
A heartfelt thank you to the local Gisborne buisnesses who have sponsored this event:
