Mon, 21 Sep, 10am - 1pm AEST

Description

This interactive three-hour workshop introduces leaders to basic principles of practice reflection, with a focus on building self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience in complex work.

Participants will explore how intentional reflection can strengthen capacity under pressure, and support healthier team dynamics when working with clients, colleagues, and the community. Through guided discussion and activities, the workshop will explore the essential role of reflection in our work, and give participants the opportunity to begin, or deepen, their reflective practice.

This workshop brings reflection to life by engaging with the reflective toolkit to prompt deeper thinking and peer learning. The toolkit offers a fresh approach to reflection with thoughtfully designed card sets, adaptable models, and role-specific prompts. It also encourages practitioners to pause, reflect on their experiences, and identify practical strategies for applying mindful approaches in their everyday work.

Participants can expect to leave with realistic and achievable practices that support both personal and team wellbeing.

Join us as we work together to lean into deeper, more purposeful reflective practice and self-awareness.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants who join us will gain:

  • Increased awareness of the Workforce Capability Framework.

  • Increased awareness of the importance of reflective practice and self-awareness in our work.

  • Understanding of the Reflective Practice Toolkit.

  • Ideas and tools for embedding reflective practice in their everyday work.
