Event description

Step confidently into the boardroom with The MPN Be Board Ready Workshop facilitated by Women on Boards. This highly interactive programme is designed for emerging and aspiring directors, and also serves as a valuable refresher for current board members.

Led by renowned governance experts Claire Braund OAM and Dr Kath Hall, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge, strategies and tools to position yourself for board opportunities and excel in your role. Through engaging discussions, case studies, and real-world insights, you will:

  • Gain a sector overview to identify where to target board opportunities

  • Learn what boards seek in candidates

  • Understand directors’ duties, conflicts of interest, and emerging areas of board liability

  • Develop a personal checklist to guide your board journey
