The MV CAPE DON is a museum and training ship and former research vessel and lighthouse tender in Waverton NSW Australia. She is the only remaining Australian lighthouse supply ship and is listed on the Australian Register of Historic Vessels.

The MV CAPE DON was built at the State Dockyards in Newcastle NSW and completed in January 1963. She was one of a unique "Cape" class of ships that were purpose built to service the important shipping and trade lanes around Australia's vast coastline.

The ship provides a window into the past as one of the last surviving examples of Australian designed and built ships from the 1960's and the critical work of the Commonwealth Lighthouse Service undertook to ensure safe passage for shipping around Australia's coastline keeping our economy moving.

The MV CAPE DON was in Government service for 27 years, her life after being sold to a private business, including the Hollywood movies she has been apart of and she ended up becoming a part of the Sea Heritage Foundation.

Come aboard and discover the ship’s history and the stories from the past and help support this amazing vessel with 50% of ticket sales being donated directly back to the ship!

Will we discover any energy left behind? Will you capture anything in a photo? Will any voices be heard?

Get hands on with paranormal equipment and conduct experiments on board the ship!

What will you discover?
