Tomorrow Together is bringing people together from across different fields for Tomorrow Talks, an evening focused on one big question: what should a Future Generations Act look like for Aotearoa?
This won’t be your typical panel event. We’re creating a space where young people, professionals and experts can come together, share ideas and have meaningful conversations about the decisions that will shape our future.
Three panel speakers will kick off the evening, answering questions with their perspectives and experiences on creating a better future and more secure space for their field in Aotearoa.
Table Talks will bring together industry professionals and participants to discuss what a Future Generations Act could mean for them, both the negatives and positives.

Tom Kelly - Director of Sustainability at BECA
Tom Kelly is Beca's Director of Sustainability, based in Auckland, with more than 15 years' experience in sustainable development, from strategy and behaviour change to risk & governance, project management and community outcomes. He leads fun, engaged, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative, future-proofed initiatives.
Dr Will Flavell - Principal at Te Kāpehu Whetū Tāmaki and a Elected Member on the Henderson Massey Local Board
Dr Will Flavell (Ngā Puhi, Ngāti Whātua, Ngāti Maniapoto) is the principal of Te Kāpehu Whetū Tāmaki, a new Māori-led senior high school in central Auckland, and has served on the Henderson-Massey Local Board since 2013. A former teacher of Japanese, social sciences and te reo Māori, he's a passionate advocate for rangatahi and equity for Māori learners.
Dr Ants Roberts - Chief Scientific Officer at Ravensdown
Dr Ants Roberts is a soil fertility specialist with over 40 years in New Zealand agriculture, beginning as a scientist with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and later AgResearch. He has researched soil fertility, agronomy, and environmental monitoring on pastoral farms in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and South Africa, and has authored or co-authored more than 100 scientific and extension papers. Today he leads agronomic research and trains field staff, helping farmers maximise economic returns while minimising their environmental impact.
