Gympie singer-songwriter Linc Phelps brings his honest, hard-worn blend of roots, Americana and country to The Nook for an intimate live performance.
Inspired by master storytellers including Bruce Springsteen, John Prine and Bonnie Raitt, Linc writes with honesty and grit, pairing heartfelt lyrics with the kind of lived-in musicianship that makes every song feel personal.
His songwriting credentials include co-writing Adam Brand and Matt Cornell’s #1 hit Our Church, along with collaborations with The Wolfe Brothers, Gavin Carfoot, Melody Moko and Jen Mize.
Linc’s second album, Faith & Sweat, debuted at #2 on the ARIA Australian Country Albums Chart and produced five singles, including the #1 hits Dear Mind, a duet with Melody Moko, and Hundred Percent. His reimagining of Graeme Connors’ classic Prodigal Son also earned Connors’ full endorsement.
Following tours with Graeme Connors, Catherine Britt, and Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham throughout 2026, Linc arrives at The Nook with new music on the horizon.

FAQs
- Will tickets be available at the door?
These events have historically sold out before the event date. Tickets are limited to a small intimate crowd. Its highly unlikely unless we have cancelations last minute.
- BYO?
Yes! We are not licensed to sell alcohol. So you are welcome to BYO
- BYO food?
No, the space is too small to accommodate BYO food. We have small bar snacks available for purchase, and we recommend eating beforehand. There’s a great Indian restaurant just downstairs, Tandoori Flames.
- Parking
Public parking is available in the Pearl Lane car park, a short walk from The Nook. We ask that patrons avoid using the Cooroy Village Shopping Centre car park so there’s enough space for the restaurants downstairs.
- What does 13+ mean?
Our 13+ shows are open to teenagers aged 13–17 when accompanied by a responsible adult. The Nook is not a licensed venue, however it is BYO, so alcohol may be consumed by adults. These events are primarily geared towards adult audiences, so some performances may include mature themes or language, but the focus is always on live music.
