The Nook Sessions - Tom Harrington + Special guest
Description
Tom Harrington - Live at The Nook Cooroy
Sat 14th November | 6:30pm | BYO | 13+
Award-winning indie-folk artist Tom Harrington brings his captivating live show to The Nook Cooroy.
After three years of touring Australia almost non-stop, Tom has supported some of the country’s most celebrated artists, including Boy & Bear, Ziggy Alberts, The Dreggs, Kim Churchill, Steph Strings and Felipe Baldomir. His festival appearances include Byron Bay Bluesfest, Airlie Beach Festival of Music, Gympie Music Muster and Tamworth Country Music Festival, and in 2023 he took out first place at Buskers by the Lake’s Battle of the Buskers.
Tom’s performances move from a cappella vocal loops and soaring crowd singalongs to unexpected moments like singing directly through his guitar pickup. His music tips its hat to traditional folk while dipping its toes into coastal country, warm, energetic and made for an intimate listening room.
In 2026, Tom released his debut album before touring it through every Australian state and territory, followed by shows across Europe. Now he’s bringing those songs, stories and road-tested live energy to The Nook.
This is your chance to experience one of Australia’s most exciting independent folk artists up close in our intimate 40-capacity room.
FAQs
- Will tickets be available at the door?
These events have historically sold out before the event date. Tickets are limited to a small intimate crowd. Its highly unlikely unless we have cancelations last minute.
- BYO?
Yes! We are not licensed to sell alcohol. So you are welcome to BYO
- BYO food?
No, the space is too small to accommodate BYO food. We have small bar snacks available for purchase, and we recommend eating beforehand. There’s a great Indian restaurant just downstairs, Tandoori Flames.
- Parking
Public parking is available in the Pearl Lane car park, a short walk from The Nook. We ask that patrons avoid using the Cooroy Village Shopping Centre car park so there’s enough space for the restaurants downstairs.
- What does 13+ mean?
Our 13+ shows are open to teenagers aged 13–17 when accompanied by a responsible adult. The Nook is not a licensed venue, however it is BYO, so alcohol may be consumed by adults. These events are primarily geared towards adult audiences, so some performances may include mature themes or language, but the focus is always on live music.
