The Noorat Writers Sessions

Noorat Writers Sessions is a one-day celebration of storytelling, ideas and the written word, held in the unique rural village of Noorat in south-west Victoria. Bringing together established authors, poets, songwriters, performers and emerging writers, the Sessions create an intimate space where audiences can experience conversations, readings, workshops and live performances that explore the craft of writing and the stories that shape our communities.

Set against the backdrop of Noorat’s historic buildings and volcanic landscape, the event celebrates regional voices while welcoming nationally recognised guests. It provides a platform for local writers and artists. The writers sessions encourages people of all ages to discover the power of words, stories and imagination.
