The Now Crowd presents: Let's talk about sustainable fashion

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

‘Sustainable fashion’ as a term has been reduced to a buzzword. Due to overuse, overpromotion, and misunderstanding we’ve lost sight of it’s real meaning, often now recognising it as more of a red flag than a signal of value and hope.

So what does ‘sustainable fashion’ actually mean? How does one genuinely participate in it? And what are the real life impacts that un-sustainable fashion has on people, and the planet? Join us as we look to redefine what it means to be a responsible consumer of fashion. We’ll be joined by a handful of experts who will share some insights, as well as some words of wisdom, and together we’ll unpack how we can approach fashion sustainably.

This session is for people who are wanting to know how to shop more sustainably, and for those who are working in the fashion industry itself.

This event is exclusively for members of The Now Crowd and the Sustainable Business Network. If you have any questions please contact ayla@sustainable.org.nz
